I like to put things in a microcosm so I might understand it better. When Mark Robinson was elected Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina in 2020, he received nearly 3 million votes. He beat his opponent by 300,000 votes, who by the way was a capable woman. This was after he referred to women as “skanks” and said things were better when they did not have the vote.
I won’t waste my time judging him, because he was just ignorant and poorly educated, but I judge the men and women who voted for him. Are you willing to throw away your self respect and moral compass because you agree with a person on guns and abortion? Sadly, the answer was yes and remains a truth for the country.

But, here you state that citizens must make a decision for the future and I suggest, Steve, that we already ahve. You have, and others have as well, kept the fire on American decision-making, yet, here we are. No sir, I think the decisions have been made and we are goin gto have to deal with the consequences. We can’t keep asking people to decide when they already have. We need to kick them in the ass.

Like it or not, we are now members of a family with a narcissistic leader who has manipulated as many family members as possible to buy into his demented lies/fantasies, has scared others into staying silent, (tends to be the most common response to narcissistic bullies), and sees us, the truth tellers, as the enemy.
