Moreover, we’ve lost the rule of law: habeas corpus, and due process. The DOJ and FBI have e been completely compromised and corrupted. And to add insult to injury, all of the dangerous and violent J6th insurrectionists were pardoned, and we just moved on the next heinous act, as though nothing strange and despicable has happened!
Additionally, we’ve watched 50 people being shipped off to an El Salvadoran gulag (CECOT), and even with a Supreme Court Ruling they aren’t even close to being resettled. And the hits keep coming, while hundreds of rulings are being ignored.
Furthermore, we’re watching Congressmen and Justices being arrested, while the MSM justifies their normalization of this cruelty and unconstitutional behavior by claiming that “all recent presidents have been becoming more and more imperialistic.”Huh????
And each day, this administration disregards judicial rulings it doesn’t like, while firing more and more civil servants and replacing them with loyal lapdogs. Even if these bureaucrats get their jobs back, the damage is already done, because they’ve already been replaced; especially all the key bureaucratic positions, or they just gutted the agency completely and beyond repair.

..peacefully..when possible, and engaging in an intense re-education effort on SM, through local news sources, and in person. And once the supply chains are has been redirected, they will not be coming back. Even during Biden’s term, the $42 billion in agricultural exports to China that Trump gambled on, never came back.
Deals were made with Brazil for Soy, and Brazil locked them into longterm contracts. And expect other countries to do the same during this administration, and I’m pretty this time around, they will it won’t even be an issue.
That said, they are also replacing NATO, so they won’t be buying billions in US weapons systems any time soon, which is going to hurt our defense industry; putting thousands of high paying engineering and manufacturing jobs at risk.
Moreover they reduced intelligence sharing and military cooperation. And if we ever get hit with another 9/11, don’t expect them to lift a finger, because they won’t without extracting lots of goodies in advance. No friendships, just transactions!
In addition, Europe also realizes that regardless of the outcome, and even if we are successful in riddling the world of Trump, there is nothing stopping another fascist from assuming power, who is exponentially worse.

For me, this helps us (me) go beyond the stereotypical, knee-jerk responses that are still being overdone by the media, including in much of MSNBC's coverage (always too focused on Trump/et. al.'s actions rather than "how" to move ahead properly, per Corporate self-censorship, with some exceptions).
And while, no doubt, the Bidens' (plural, yes because of Jill and others in their entourage) holding on to power and selfishly running again in 2024, was a major cause to Trump's regaining office: there are SO many other factors leading to the current malaise we are enduring and will for years to come.
To stay brief, I have come to understand WW2 never ended, nor did the Civil War, or 1619's start of slavery here, along with the colonialism of white domination over people of color all over the world since before then.
Holding to a "Both/And" approach allows for more bird's-eye (macro) views of knowing what is going on, so that we can truly, perhaps find a way out of the human folly which is so insidiously still continuing universally, including the technocratic capitalist greed that brainwashes the masses: here and abroad.

Trump IS an antisemite; he hides behind his association with Netanyahu as a ploy for you to think otherwise and his son in-law. We know to our bones the decrepit hared this man has in him as he hides, his true nature talking with his Nazi pals whom he adores, The American Jews know in their hearts, who hates them. Trump is a true racist of others who are not white, (and Jews are not white so don't fool yourselves) Jews who do know, will not have any trust in him, as he will turn on a dime $ toward the turncoat he is! He was borne a man who hates, its intrinsic and was taught by Fred his father whom to hate!
I so appreciate the juxtaposition of Master Sergeant Edmonds’ care for his subordinates and Ms Kingsley’s complete lack of empathy and human values. I had read the story about his devotion and how he saved the men under his command, perhaps in an earlier essay of Steve’s. It had touched my soul like no other story and once again, I find myself thinking about the soldiers good fortune to have had a man such as Edmonds who put their lives above his own.

The promotion of a known antisemite to Pentagon press secretary isn’t a lapse in judgment — it’s the logical endpoint of a movement that’s been mainstreaming hate, punishing truth, and laundering fascism through the stars and stripes for years.
They want a military that answers not to the Constitution, but to the cult. A press secretary who rewrites history, not defends facts. And a culture so desensitized, so drowned in scandal fatigue, that we’re supposed to shrug and move on.

Education and wisdom.
Those are the only two things I can think of that causes such hatred and idiocy.
How is it that supposedly educated and skilled men and women can have such racist ideas and views? It's astounding to think that in the 21st century, with all we know about the hatred of the 20th, this sort of thought and speech is happening.
One can be educated to the teeth. But, wisdom is what makes education work IMO. You can have all the education in the world but if you cannot see the forest through the trees you will spout racist dribble. The Trump admin is full of such dotards, sycophants and charlatans.
