Pablum and platitudes
Chuck Schumer is the wrong man at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Two days ago, Chuck Schumer looked into a camera, and said the following:
Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller are f*cking liars. Any administration that allows them to continue in office is rotten to its core. The vote on appropriations is coming up Thursday night, and Democrats will not let the Republicans move forward if ICE and DHS funding are in the bill.
Last night, Schumer allowed ICE to continue its immoral rampage and abuses for two more weeks, while Donald Trump appeared at the desecrated Kennedy Center for the freak show premiere of “Make F*ck, Get Green Card” — I mean “Melania” — and said that there would be “no pullback” in Minneapolis. “Not at all.”
For the record, while five-year-old Liam Ramos sits in a cage, unresponsive, limp and shattered, Melania reportedly pocketed $28 million from Amazon, and Jeff Bezos who hired a sexual predator to make a movie about a “model,” who married the best friend of a pedophile, felon and sexual predator.
Like Melania likes to say, “Be Best.” It is her favorite saying after “How much?”
Speaking of “how much?,” Donald and his sons Uday and Qusay, plus the fantastically corrupt Trump Organization, are suing the IRS and US Treasury Department that they are already pilfering for $10 billion more.
Donald Trump has hung a photo of Vladimir Putin in the White House that he tore down, while his thugs plot to break up Canada, conquer Danish territory and wage war in Iran. All the while, they are terrorizing Americans in cities that are now euphemistically called “theaters of operation,” which the ugly translation into German would be “zone of interest.”
Chuck Schumer isn’t evil like Trump, Vance, RFK Jr., Noem, MiKKKer, Lewandowski, Bovino, Bondi, Patel, Hegseth, Leavitt, McClaughlin, Blanche, Dillon, Pirro and many more.
Chuck Schumer’s problem is that he can’t see the evil staring back at him.
He is a career politician who lives in a type of gilded terrarium that has detached him from reality. He’s like a hamster in the cage spinning on a wheel. He roams between his Brooklyn nest and his Senate office. His spinning wheel is the Amtrak or the Delta shuttle that delivers him to the other compartment that makes up his habitat — the Senate gym, the Senate lunchroom, the Senate cloak room, the Senate floor and his Senate hideaway. Inside his habitat the hamster can imagine that he is a lion because there is no lion to tell him that he is a hamster.
Chuck Schumer has carved his legacy into granite.
He is MAGA’s greatest appeaser.
He is Neville Chamberlain.
Chuck Schumer is a fool, who would not fight for the right against the wrong, and would not make a stand on defense of American liberty.
He did this instead:
Senate Democrats tolerated the appeasement.
Seven Senate Democrats voted to confirm Kristi Noem, while seven more simply didn’t vote either way — apparently unbothered by her animal cruelty and abject lack of fitness for an office that gave her command of an army to be used against the American people.
Let me be perfectly clear.
The time for kneeling down is over.
It is a time for standing up.
A great moral moment has arrived, and it cannot be met by poll-tested cliches and nonsense talk brimming with platitudes, hollow words and pablum.
The time for pretending is over.
Democrats have the power to make the chaos stop.
They must exercise it.
The North Star must be principle, not caution and fear.
The failure to stand up now will destroy the Democratic Party in the same way that the Whig Party was destroyed by the passage of the Missouri Act, which allowed the spread of slavery into the western territories.
The consequence for the failure to take a moral stand in 1854 was the creation of the Republican Party, the deceased party of Lincoln.
The failure to stop MAGA fascists in 2026 will destroy the Democratic Party. It will fracture.
There is no more room to back up.
None.
The party will make a stand, or it will crumble.
It will make an American stand or die.
The time for performative politics is over.
Chuck Schumer talked tough because he knows that the country is disgusted, but he doesn’t seem to understand why at an emotional level.
The 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 10th and 14th Amendments are being obliterated. They must be defended. Failure is not an option.
Agreeing to a two-week negotiating window to confront state violence, lawlessness, and corruption is an appalling decision.
Democrats have leverage, but they refuse to use it and because of that Liam Ramos sits in a cage, and more Americans are at risk of being killed.
One week has passed since the murder of Alex Pretti, and the American people still don’t know the names of the killers.
Almost exactly a year ago, Chuck Schumer promised to lay down on the train tracks against MAGA. Here’s what he said:
We’re not going to go after every single issue. We are picking the most important fights and lying down on the train tracks on those fights.
It was never a strategy — and I called it out at the time:
It was a suicide pact, and Chuck Schumer keeps getting run over.
Over and over again.
Because of this the Republic is dying. Our children deserve leaders who will fight for the greatest idea in history: AMERICA.
What is happening in this country is a sin.
It must stop.

Here's what I wrote to Schumer this morning and copied Chris Murphy and Thom Tillis. Please fill their inboxes and any other senator if so inclined: Senator Schumer,
Please no deal on any part of the budget without a full recalibration of how ICE operates. We have all seen the damage done to people exercising their First Amendment rights, including murder. Murder. On camera.
But it's worse -- ICE is creating a database of people who protest and are labeling them as terrorists. They are using drones and facial recognition and literally going to war with us, the people of the United States.
ICE is ignoring the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Shut this government down unless that database is removed, unless the Constitution is assiduously observed. ICE should not be 100 air miles from the border. Five miles, maybe. 100 is how we got into this mess. Rewrite how ICE works for the rest of the government to be funded, or don't fund it at all.
Please. This is truly now a matter of life and death. Please. For Renee Good and Alex Pretti and the many others who have died or been tortured and mistreated by ICE, just say NO. No more, no deal. We have rights and you have this moment to stand in the breach and preserve those rights for us, the people of the United States.
Thank you.
Speaking of the I.R.S., it has been decimated and destroyed in the past year. This is due more to Satan’s Employee Russell Vought than the guy with thirteen or fourteen kids. This willful and planned destruction has made the ability to audit the wealthiest impossible and non-existent.
