The largest synagogue in Mississippi was torched this weekend. The last time it was torched was in 1967. The KKK did that. This year’s torchers are probably heading now to DHS for their ICE signing bonus.

Husaria's avatar

Ya’ think that bonus will help them pay for their : Health insurance, groceries, kids college tuition, car payment, etc, etc, etc?

They’re such ignorant, stupid and racist fucks. I don’t know what happens to people to make them do such eff-ed up shit. Not to mention when they fall out of favor from imbecile orange fueher, do they realize they will be atop his shit list and receive the full brunt of MAGANAZI hatred?

Fifty years of the Republican Party decimating public education, coupled with the oligarchs purchasing the Supreme Court and buying elections, have gotten us here. And I am not convinced there are enough thinking people to say no to J.D. Vance in 2028.

Husaria's avatar

Agreed.

The midterms will be a bellwether for which direction our nation takes.

We can and should have our differences. They should be discussed and debated vigorously and civilly. That is a sign of a healthy, functioning democracy.

That being said, the crazy needs to stop.

Burning Synagogues? ( WTF really? in 2026? )

Shooting unarmed citizens? ( Renee Good )

Locking human beings up without due process? ( ICE everyday )

Invading and threatening to invade sovereign nations? ( Venezuela, Greenland )

Investigating the Fed. Chairman by the DOJ ? ( 100% see through political move )

I can listen to both sides of an issue, debate or policy. I’ll form my opinion with the facts I see and that I'm presented with. What I can’t listen to is bat-shit eff-ing crazy nonsense. I can’t do it. I immediately shut down when I hear the ravings of nutters, charlatans, stooges, and the incompetent.

"I immediately shut down when I hear the ravings of nutters, charlatans, stooges, and the incompetent." I'll assume you also immediately exit a smoke-filled room, ditto when you smell gas, and that you'd spit out something that tasted foul. Needs no explanation 😁

Husaria's avatar

LOL!

Yup, you got it!

It’s common sense when hearing someone say…..” They’re eating the dogs! They’re eating the cats! They’re eating pets! “ And, then think……this guy is effing nuts. Who in their right mind would vote for a whack-a-do like this? I don’t need to hear any more about his tax / foreign / domestic policy. He’s a dotard. I’m out, mic drop.

Thank you, Steve. This ICE recruitment ad sickens me like nothing else. That awful song, those marching boots. My parents grew up under the Third Reich. My family suffered greatly during Hitler’s awful war. Ordinary blue-collar Germans, white Christians, terrified and starving and bombed by the Allies for years. Amazed they survived. Thankfully my dad (who hated Nazis) is gone now and doesn’t have to witness his beloved adopted country being taken over by Drumpf’s fascist Geheimestaatspolizei. My mum is 92, scared out of her wits and horrified that once again a German is to blame. I will honor my family and fight this illegal, brutal coup as long as it takes.

Steve, I am a long-time subscriber and just upgraded to Paid, so I could comment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your important work.

To quote Robert Hubbell, THIS WILL STOP WHEN ENOUGH OF US SAY NO.

As a symbol of resistance to this vile regime, I will be wearing a whistle to all political/ resistance events and deeply hope others will follow until millions of us are visibly on the streets with whistles around our necks, we the people!

Punkette's avatar

Thank you, Nancy. That’s a great idea. It would be cool to buy whistles in bulk and hand them out at rallies. So far the best deal is at Amazon — plastic multicolored whistles with lanyards, 200 sets for $23.49 — but I am boycotting Amazon, so I will keep looking.

Please keep searching, thank you!

Same for my father and his family, I'm sure my dad and his are turning in their graves.

Let’s start being a bit more precise about the Good murder: she was EXECUTED.

That song is awful and so is Secretary Noem. We deserve better

It’s disgusting that Trump and his minions are trying to justify and cover up the terrorizing and murder of an innocent woman who was just dropping her child off at school. They are all low-life scum who need prison sentences.

Joel Karlinsky's avatar

Nope, prison is too good for these people.

I had never heard Miller speak but I forced myself to listen during this segment. Yikes! What a freaker!

Betty Moyers's avatar

FUCK HER!

What an evil CUNT.

Husaria's avatar

I thought Jake Tapper should have let "word salad” Noem* ramble on and when she finished say, “ So, is that a yes or no? Should those people at the capital on Jan 6th have been shot? “

If / when she went off the rails again he should have simply said the same thing. Yes or no? When she wouldn’t answer he should have responded with the nail in the coffin statement of “ Ok, so you don’t want to or can’t answer this question. Moving on. “

To: Sec.Noem. Syntax! It’s what makes language(s) understandable. Try it sometime.

Patty J's avatar

Noem never presents as very intelligent in my opinion. Empty (except for profuse amounts of filler) and vapid, and I always thought that crimes were perpetrated, not perpetuated.

Husaria's avatar

She is just a parrot with no offense to actual parrots BTW.

She spews the same lines of BS over and over again. It’s like clockwork.

“……..President Trump is working hard to keep the American people safe…..”

“……the border is now more secure than it has ever been…..”

“ …..we’re rounding up criminals and child pedophiles ( what about your boss? )….”

“ ……Our ICE agents are American patriots keeping us safe ….."

There are so many more examples of her BS but my poor tired hands can’t type them all here.

Elaine Seal's avatar

If you don't already subscribe to Jeff Tiedrich's Substack you should. He's hilarious. One of his best lines is "the first journalist/tv analyst who after questioning anyone in this regime should say what the FUCK are you talking about should get a lifetime Pulitzer."

I never watch Tapper and Welker is completely useless. I used to watch the Sunday shows. Not anymore. It's a waste of time.

It is frightening how much of media has been taken over by fascists. Our local channels (Schenectady, NY) are owned by Sinclair News. Our local newspaper's (Daily Gazette) headline yesterday, accompanied by photos, covered the protests of the day before in detail and approximated the number of protesters at 500.

Sinclair News ignored the protest.

BTW, Kristi Noem is a repulsive, ignorant, idiot whose alligator neck betrays the cosmetic work done on her Betty Boop Barbie face.

💥 BREAKING: Hegseth Gets SERVED By Mark Kelly💥

Crazy to pick a fight with an astronaut veteran.

Retired United States Navy Captain, astronaut, husband to Gabby Giffords, and United States Senator Mark Kelly just sued Pete Hegseth (no notable relevant achievements) for trying to unconstitutionally demote his rank and decrease his pay.

The reason for Hegseth’s attempted demotion – a video of Sen. Kelly and some of his veteran colleagues telling members of the military to refuse to carry out orders that are illegal.

In his complaint, Sen. Kelly says Hegseth is coming after him purely for his political speech — speech that has been rigorously defended. Previous court cases even state that legislators speaking on policy issues should have their speech protected according to the First Amendment, making Hegseth and the Pentagon’s actions blatantly unconstitutional.

But Hegseth will fight Kelly with taxpayer money. Hegseth should have to pay out of his own pocket.

Upside Down Inside Out: Trump Says Civil Rights Led to White People Being ‘Very Badly Treated’

These comments were a blunt distillation of his administration’s racial politics, which rest on the belief that white people have become the real victims of discrimination in America.
