Merry Christmas, Matt Gaetz!
I made a prediction about Matt Gaetz and his future a few years ago. I’m sharing my side of a Twitter exchange with accused statutory rapist Matt Gaetz from 2021.
Now, trying to predict the future is an inexact science, but I feel good about how close I came to the hole here. It looks like another easy put.
Not surprisingly, Matt Gaetz deleted his side of the exchange, but my side was captured for all time by the good folks at Democratic Underground.
It is coming true.
The Twitter exchange began with a fashion crime and my calling Gaetz out over his buttoning both buttons on his suit jacket.
It’s important to remember that the same demented fool who is threatening to annex Canada, invade Panama, and seize Greenland nominated a credibly accused rapist and boozy morning television host to be Secretary of Defense.

Here’s my side of the exchange:
You are a spoiled rotten punk and a disgrace to the House of Representatives. You are a “Little Eichmann.” A snot nosed fascist who is running out of time. Strategically, the US Attorney understands that your father will spend whatever it takes to bail out his dip shit son.
I continued:
Having indulged and spoiled you into a stupefying idiocy, he is fully committed to the project but his embarrassment and shame must be immeasurable. The US Attorney will be careful, methodical, and detail obsessed. No mistakes. They control the clock. Late at night, I bet that is what keeps you up. The loss of agency and control. Is it today? Tomorrow? When? It is coming. You know what you did. When you are sentenced to a Federal Prison there will be a moment where all the bullshit stops. You will be shackled and off loaded. The in processing will be professional, sterile, and humiliating. You will be stripped, inspected, examined and searched. You are likely to be a felon. A Federal Prisoner, with a number and a job. But you may be different. Because what you did wasn’t graft was it ? Hmmm. Will you petition for protective custody? Will the Warden order it? Send you to solitary confinement? To Protect you ? It’s almost over and I suspect you know more about that than me. It’s ending as a farce. The likely felon and the anti Semitic conspiracy loon @RepMTG. Who do you think she replaces you with? Last thing. When that cell door locks down, at night, that isn’t the sound of being cancelled. It’s the sound of prison. Glad we had this time Matt.

I think we should stop referring to something called the Republican Party. It no longer exists, and reference to it is nothing more than a desecration of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
It is the MAGA Party. Which is a collection of Bootlicking Chumps in service to Jackboot Scoundrel Billionaires intent on taking everything we have and hold dear.
