The American people are being failed by American journalists who can take even the very clearest waters and muddy them with nonsense. Below is a pristine example. Jarrin Jackson is a religious fanatic who hates Jews. He is running for a state Senate seat in Oklahoma, so naturally he was just endorsed by Kari Lake, the extremist running for governor of Arizona, and who is fresh off a frothy and exultant speech about Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump having “big dick energy.”
Since the antisemite and MAGA extremist is running with an “R” next to his name, the journalist called A.J Ferate, the Oklahoma Republican Party chairman and extremist, for comment. Predictably, the chairman pretended to be ignorant of Jackson before condemning antisemitism, and vowing not to tolerate it. It is a very mundane statement except for the fact that it is being made by the exact person who is both tolerating and advancing the aforementioned antisemitism. What I’m trying to say is if antisemitism travelled by boat in Oklahoma, the name of the vessel is the Oklahoma Republican Party and its chairman is the captain. The gaslighting is simply breathtaking. Truly, as in George Orwell’s 1984, “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength.”
