We must demand from ICE all of the data related to arrests. I learned of 2 U.S. citizens who were detained at the Whipple building in Mpls for TWO WEEKS before they were released in the middle of the night. There must be 100s of others.
Machiavelli explained to the autocrats of his day that a prince could control his subjects through love and fear but to rely on fear since the people will sooner turn on a prince they love than one they fear. However, he cautioned them against doing things that would make their subjects hate them for hatred can overcome fear and lead to rebellion.
