Alyssa Farah Griffin debuted on “The View” yesterday, and said something out loud that deserves discussion. She said the following about Donald Trump, “I think Donald Trump is [semi-fascist], I think the vast majority of his supporters are not.” It could not be more true.
Ms. Farah Griffin was a senior aide to Vice President Pence in the Trump White House. She is one of the very few people around the White House who did not cross the rubicon and follow Donald Trump into the abyss. She said no. I talked about the choice she faced two months before Trump was defeated.
Ms. Farah Griffin is also correct when she said that millions upon millions of Americans who will vote for Republican candidates are not fascists. The United States has a two-party system and the sad reality of modern politics is that astounding numbers of Americans place two considerations atop their voting decision.
