A woman in DC was arrested for vandalism after retrieving a piece of Trump’s plastic floating in the Reflecting Pool. To think my US Army uncle fought the SS for this.

Trump is the one who should be arrested for vandalism - of the pool, the White House, and every other site he has ruined.

Shades Of COVID Mismanagement

WE the People remember when the COVID global pandemic was beginning to rage and Cheeto said to the nation, "Don't worry, it'll be over by summer". Confiding to Bob Woodward, Cheeto knew that wasn't true. Then Cheeto decided that he would put Jared in charge of obtaining respirators with his college room mate. Then he mused that with his extensive medical background that bleach could do some "internal cleansing". After the deaths of several whackjobs who tried the bleach trick, the makers of bleach products put out statements to avoid liability. After 1M+ deaths followers of Cheeto were asking for the vaccine before going on respirators and eventually succumbing to a respiratory death. Then there was the horse parasite prescription of Ivermectin, the use of which was debunked by the scientific community. No science just one inappropriate adventure after another.

So now WE the People are experiencing the same unbelievable incompetence, but this time on the global stage with foreign policy. Will the electorate ever learn that it's the Nazi Republicans that create this kind of leadership. Over the decades the party has gradually decided that the only thing that is necessary is gain power, no need to do anything for WE the People or support the country in time of need. As a matter of fact, screw the people, it's the wealthy donor class that we work for.

Just resign, Trump. Your troubles come from not belonging in the job.

That scum filled pond is a metaphor for Trump's entire presidency.

Jill Stoner's avatar

The metaphor is stunning. Cloudy green water with a scum of dark blue plastic shards may become a defining image of Trump 2.0.

Trump's unending plot: create a problem due to corruption and incompetence; blame that problem on any available innocent victim.

Steve, another “so great.” So simply expressed with truth and honesty!

THANKS!

This isn't incompetence. It is corruption. Congress must investigate the contractors and account for the expense (kick backs to Trump and all)!

It's feeling like another gigantic venture into total bankruptcy again by Trump.. only he's ruined Our Credit...the Credit and Good Faith reputation of the United States. Quite the legacy. 🫤😠😡

It has become completely crazy . We have to prevail in November . Somehow, someway, they have to be impeached and taken out of office. One Democrat talking head said we wouldn't have to worry that much if JD steps in. Nope, Sorry he is as dangerous as Trump .. Maybe the Iran issue would be ok but he is as dangerous if not more so then Trump. They both have to be impeached . Hakeem can step in . When Nixon was forced to resign he had already picked Ford because Agnew had to resign. Then Ford picked Nelson Rockefeller . We can do this . Trump is nuts .. I bet the real fake news FOX is trying to say the reflection pool has been tampered with by haters of Trump .. I lfeel like Edvard Munch's The Scream today .........

Hi Steve. Love everything you do. Regarding the reflecting pool -- it is certain that the high cost of the debacle is resulting is a huge kick back for Trump. Congress should investigate this latest corruption. Also -- the possibility of a traitorous deal with Iran to profit off any payments or reparations. We should investigate the Kushner/Wycliffe (sp?) as certainly they set up a deal to keep the war going and profit from it. How can we investigate and call out this certain corruption and war profiteering?

There are security cameras near the reflecting pool. What do they show? Why doesn’t trump get the $$$$ back from his convicted felon friend who destroyed the pool?

Trump has finally drawn tens of millions of followers around the reflecting pool -- more than Obama -- more than any President ever! Yes, they were algae but that will be omitted on Fox News. Just add it to the Jan. 20, 2029 list -- as the needed steam cleaning trucks line up outside Pennsylvania Avenue waiting to remove all the disgusting gold from the white house, as we wave goodbye to his helicopter and immediately seize OUR jet which we will sink off of the Florida coast to become "America's Great Barrier to Authoritarians Reef". One needs some symbolic dreams as we roll up our sleeves to deal with the serious damage we will have to restore and rebuild -- keep talking about the plans for that next D-Day (Democracy Day) Steve!

Why don't reporters ask Vance why the inspectors are not there now, i.e., under JCPOA they were inspecting. He would laughingly try to double-talk his way out of that...BUt, really why isn't that being shouted from the rooftops and pointed out -- "we were safer before this war than we are now... Here's why"
