OK, reality check: 1) measles is back; 2) polio too; 3) whooping cough has returned; 4) kid deaths from the flu surged; 5) racism is back; 6) self-congratulation for being uneducated has returned; 7) trusting "my gut" and ignoring experts has returned; 8) fascism hasn't been this popular since 1939; 9) tariff lies are back after the McKinley Tariff of the late 1800s almost destroyed our economy; 10) being pro-Russia returns after the Left idealized it in the 1930s; 11) Robber Barons are back bigger and uglier than ever; 12) not being able to afford medical care resurfaced. I've run out of breath but there's lots more we've "taken back" we fought hard to get rid of.

But surely much more important to the entire free world is our Prime Minister Mark Carney’s epic speech in which he clearly explained that Trump has completely overturned the old world order which was based on rules and laws, and that as a result the middle powers must work together and build new alliances to defend themselves against possible invasion, still higher tariffs and whatever means this deranged and dangerous POTUS uses to attack their freedom and sovereignty. And someone like you, who surely at least still knows and has purchase with people who know those R’s, will be uniquely able to drive a wedge into those cracks.
