Earlier today, Kristen Welker of NBC’s Meet the Press did an interview with Donald Trump. I think it’s the perfect example of the media learning no lessons on how to cover Donald Trump as he prepares to run for president in 2024. Here’s my reaction to it:

I said this yesterday and will say it again. Steve, please help these newspeople in any way you can!

“Steve I hope that every journalist who is set to interview DT is watching and listening to you on a regular basis. I hope they are consulting and communicating with you behind the scenes. I hope that as a consultant and advisor to politicians you are now becoming that to journalists and news broadcasters. They all need your guidance as to the truth of what the election is about and which tough questions should be asked.”

Welker lost me when she referred to this man as “Mr. President “ and his “wife” as “ First Lady”. He gaslit most of the questions and spouted lie after lie, which were never sufficiently challenged. I am looking away from MSM toward Jack Smith and Fani Willis. I have to have hope that justice will win out in the end. It is the only thing I have left to trust.
