An agenda of love

A conversation with Bishop William Barber and Pastor Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove

Thank you Ellie Leonard, Mark McInerney, Nicholas Ramos, Susan DRENNAN GABRIEL, and many others for tuning into my conversation with Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove and William J. Barber, II.

For those who missed it, I hope you’ll tune in.

Among the things that we talked about was the execution of Alex Pretti, which both men refer to as a “modern day lynching.” I asked them how to contain my anger towards what the American Gestapo agents did to the 37-year-old VA nurse from Minneapolis.

We also talked about the Moral March from Wilson to Raleigh, NC, taking place from February 11 - 13. I will be joining my fellow The Save America Movement steering committee members on the 50+-mile march. They shared their perspective on how a non-violent, moral movement can meet the current authoritarian crisis by building a coalition of voters around an agenda of love.

The Save America Movement released this ad today in support of the march:
