There is no person in the recorded history of the world who sought power seeking retribution and vengeance against his enemies, who didn’t deliver on the promise when gaining power. Donald Trump will be no different.
There will be much to write about in the days ahead about how this happened.
The repudiation of the Democratic Party by the American people must be faced squarely. There is a question at hand for Democrats to answer: what do you think is so repugnant about the Democratic Party that the American people who elected Barack Obama twice chose Donald Trump over us?
Sadly, Joe Biden has destroyed his legacy. He will be remembered as the greatest egotist in the history of the presidency not named Trump. His epic selfishness has gravely injured the United States. The small group of advisors and Washington insiders who guided his disastrous campaign and authored the outcome of the election deserve every bit of the contempt and disdain they have deeply earned.
Donald Trump is not king, and I will never bow. Join me in this.
The next election is 1,460 days from now. It must be approached differently. For example, Chuck Schumer shouldn’t be the senate leader anymore.
Like many of you, I am utterly heartbroken for my country today. The American people have broken faith with who we once were. Only a broken and decaying society elects a man like Trump. Yet, the country is worth fighting for. Donald Trump will need constant reminders that our rights are inalienable.
The American people have voted to obliterate our politics, customs, alliances and traditions. The price will be heavy. Very heavy.
I am going to process what has happened over the next day or so, and will lay out what lies ahead. My worst fears have been realized, though I am not surprised.
The Warning will be a space where honest discussions about why this happened will take place, but for now I’m going to sit back and think a bit.
The struggle ahead is going to be ugly and hard, but the fight will be worth it.
I promise you that.
Biden’s fault? I lay it squarely on the people who chose hate.
I am comfortable placing some blame on Merrick Garland, but my anger is more for the white women and men who voted for Trump.
