America is at war.
There has been no national debate whatsoever, no congressional authorization, and no rationalization for the attack by Donald Trump beyond blustering idiocies.
Why are we at war if Iran’s nuclear program was “obliterated,” as Trump previously claimed?
Why are we at war?
Why have so many congressional Democrats been so silent about what could be seen coming from so far away?
The American republic has become what exactly?
An empire?
Are we led by a Caesar?
Tell me some more about the checks and balances.
At any rate, the FIFA Peace Prize may have been a bit premature.
Wars are easy to start.
They are much harder to stop.
This was an unnecessary war if ever there was one. It will not end well.
Soon, some young Americans will come home to their families in flag-covered boxes, and they will have died for nothing.
Nothing.
The betrayal is staggering.
Only fools would have believed Donald Trump’s promises about peace, but there is no debate about them having been made.
Donald Trump promised peace, and has delivered war.
It is the most immense broken promise in American history.
Of course, another way to look at the betrayal is to understand that it was purposeful.
It was a lie, and the lie fulfilled its purpose.
All fascists promise peace, while plotting war.
All of them, and Donald Trump, is certainly a fascist.
This is a terrible day, and make sure you understand that it is no video game.
Wars are not won by dropping bombs, and this one won’t be either.
Trump will use this war as a pretext to assault the voting rights of Americans in the name of security.
Mark my words.
We have entered a dangerous new season in America.
We are about to start spinning faster.
Things are going to start heating up.
Ahead is a hot, hot American summer. It will be a summer of discontent and protest.
Donald Trump and his fascists are going to lean in, the corrupt corporate media is going to lean back, and the American people are going to stand up.
There is going to be an electricity in the air — an energy that has not been seen in a very long time in America.
Things are both clearer, and more dangerous, this morning.
What is happening is what I’ve talked about over many years.
The Warnings have come true.
Soon, Trump will begin talking about mandatory military service.
He will talk about the draft, and MAGA will cheer and cheer and cheer.
Donald Trump’s legacy is filling in.
War will be in the first sentence of his epithet, and we are at the very beginning.
The very beginning.
Take a look at who has been getting elected to Congress:
Tommy Tuberville, Katie Britt, Lindsey Graham, Mike Johnson, Roger Wicker, Markwayne Mullin, Marsha Blackburn, Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, Harriet Hageman, Ralph Norman, Randy Fine, Chip Roy.
See any pattern?
Nations do not fare well when the dumbest have the numbers to elect the dumbest.
Where do we go? What can we do? How do we protect ourselves? Who will be the leader of an opposition? Unnecessary, unwanted, unpopular, our undoing. I expect terrorist attacks. I expect market upheaval enough to cause panic, loss of savings, and a depression. Congress must act quickly.
