Following the publication of ProPublica’s latest reporting on Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito taking a luxury fishing vacation with GOP billionaires who later had cases before the Supreme Court, I sat down with Justin Elliott, one of the reporters who broke this story. We talk about this particular story, and also discuss Clarence Thomas’ previous conflicts on interest, if this corruption goes on with all Supreme Court justices and what the Court can do to regain the trust of the American people.

Alito's corruption exposed
Here's my guess. The Republican justices, with the probable exception of Roberts, use their religious beliefs to justify to themselves lying in the confirmation hearings and afterward. Their corrupt ties to Leo and his corrupt network of billionaires and political operatives is also shrouded in faux faith. Thanks to Pro Publica for their work and to you Steve for staying with this unfolding story.
So, I guess, when Alito said "Not true" to Barack Obama's portrayal of SCOTUS's Citizens United decision at the 2010 State of the Union address, he was just rehearsing his response to ProPublica's reporting on his six-figure fishing trip to Alaska. Wow, Sam: anything else that was "not true", like leaking the Dobbs decision months before it was set to be voted on, to make sure the other justices didn't change their mind?
