Amen Rev. it's such a vulgar and disgusting FU display of excess .....shame on Jeff bOzOz....makes the both of them so unattractive especially with that "watermelons stuffed into an evening gown look" at the Met Gala last weekend😳🙄😉

Another outstanding interview with the thought provoking team of Steve Schmidt and Bishop William Barber. I agree with everything you both said, and I’ll add one piece that often gets left out when we talk about Bezos. His ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott. The one who got away with her soul intact.

She’s given away more than $19 billion. HBCUs, food banks, women’s shelters, grassroots groups doing the work nobody else funds. Unrestricted grants without naming rights or a foundation built to outlive her. She’s moving the money into the hands of people who need it, as fast as she responsibly can.

Give her her flowers. We need a serious reckoning with a billionaire class that gives nothing back to the people who made them wealthy, and in that conversation Mackenzie stands out. The hard work was real. The gift was greater. She understands both.

We need more Mackenzies. Fewer Bezos.

Steve, I’m guessing you’re going to need to run for office.

Steve, you and Bishop Barber spark an alchemical reaction of higher discourse that is sorely needed in this critical moment. I share Bishop Barber’s fear that we cannot disappoint the demand for real reform in every institution and department of our nation, lest we risk losing to the forces of despair, inertia and business as usual. This would be the death of our republic for sure.

While raised in a reformed Jewish household, my position on 'religion' is best said by Thomas Paine, "My Country is the World, and my Religion is to Do Good". Dr. Rev. Barber is lovely and clearly, even though he relies on scripture, his religion is to Do Good. Thank you for this interview.

Sovereign fiat currency remains the People’s Power. Embrace that fact and let us create prosperity for all citizens and strengthen democracy. We must.

Hi Steve, my name is Victor, and I’m a paid subscriber. I’ve noticed recently that only your screen in the Substack group is wider, hiding the right side and making it hard to find the heart to respond to your report. Is there a conspiracy to interfere with your site, preventing people from sending a “like”?

You don’t have to answer this note. It’s just a heads-up for you to investigate. This phenomenon also happens with Miss Cox Richardson, and again, no one else in my Substack login’s.
